I’ve always been afraid to wear bright colours, such as turquoise, but wearing it as eyeliner instead of eyeshadow doesn’t feel as daunting. Here is my take on the turquoise liner, using organic and cruelty free products.
For something so bright, it’s actually effortless! Keep reading to see how I achieved this look.
I primed my eyes with the Gressa Minimalist Serum Foundation in 3.5, buffing it over my eyelids with the Real Techniques Expert Face brush
I patted the Sheer Design Eyeshadow in Soft Nude all over my lid with the Bdellium 777
I mixed a little water and loose eyeshadow to form a paste and then lined my lower lashes, flicking it out a little with the Bdellium 542. This is actually a lip brush but the fine end lets me draw thin lines. You can find this turquoise from DaVinci Cosmetics. It belongs to the La Toscana 9 stack eyeshadow collection palette.
Using the Bdellium 777 again, I packed on the rose gold shade from Angelic Splash. I took this all over the lid and up into the crease. I blended out any harsh edges with the Bdellium 783
I took some gold from the Ginger Splash Palette and popped on the inner corner of my eye and swept it upwards and into the centre of my lid.
To clean up any fall out I concealed underneath my eyes with the Gressa Minimalist Serum Foundation and buffed that upwards to my temples
Next I applied two layers of my own mineral foundation all over my face using circular buffing motions with the Bdellium 957
I needed my eyebrows to frame my eyes, so I applied the darker mineral shadow at the bottom and the lighter one at the top. The Bdellium 762 is perfect for light, feathery strokes. I finish them by brushing through with the Real Techniques Lash and Brow Groomer.
I wriggled the Ere Perez Organic Jojoba Eye Pencil only along the roots of my lashes as well as the top water line. I only wanted subtle definition there
If you apply two mascaras then you will ensure your curl will have more impact. I like Pacifica because it doesn’t clump my lashes together, while the Ere Perez adds length and is jet black. I always brush them through.
I applied a few layers of the Ere Perez Pure Rice Powder in Bronzer tones to give my skin a sun-tanned appearance. I apply it high on my cheek bones, along my chin and the outer parts of my forehead with the Bdellium 942.
Time for some blush to warm up my cheeks. The 945 from Bdellium Tools is a good size as I want to keep it a little higher than my actual apples. I took some of the warm pink from the Ginger Splash Baked Mineral Blush.
Almost there. A finishing touch of the gold from the same palette works as my highlighter.
I applied a generous layer of In Paradise from Ilia Beauty. It’s the perfect coral pink to complete the look.
