There’s something satisfying about being up early, with an entire day to look forward to. That’s why I love it when the weather is too hot to stay in bed in the morning. Even better are the balmy nights that Summer brings. Here are some lipsticks that I think would work perfectly for Summer. All of these colours have warm undertones, perfect to be worn day or night.
This is a sheerer formula, so the hot pink coral is more wearable. If you’re not sold on orange and still favour pink, then this is a step up from more muted and natural looking peach.
I adore this colour. I don’t have anything else like it. Putting a bronze shimmer on your lips might sound ridiculous but this is so wearable. This wears matte, but has shimmer. Paired with a sultry eye, I bet it would be great for a night out.
Now this one does lean more on the orange side. When I first swatched this I thought it would be too orange for me, but I really do like how it brightens my complexion without looking garish.
This is more of an every day colour. It’s very warm toned, but sheer enough to not be loud. The SPF 15 will help during the day, which is when you need it. It’s an easy colour to swipe on, especially if you’re an active person who doesn’t want to fuss with lipstick.
The only matte shade of the bunch, this colour is perfection for anyone with a similar skin tone who wants to experiment with a burnt orange, red. This was a huge surprise for me and again, I think it’s perfect for both day or night. It feels a bit dressier than an every day colour, so I really like it for going out.
Adorn Cosmetics in Natural Red
I added this because even though it looks dark in the swatch, is actually comes out as a soft, warm red on me. In some light it looks pinker, in some light it looks a little orange. It’s a great colour if true red is too strong for your liking
