They are vegan however some products contain synthetic beeswax, which is made from petroleum based ingredients. The website is a little difficult to follow, as there are so many products. From what I can gather there are 5 formulas.
The ‘X-series’ formula is free from synthetic beeswax but contains BIS Diglyceryl polyacyladipate 2, which adipic acid is a major component and can be a mild skin irritant and mildly toxic.
The ‘Instant Colour’, ‘Original’ and ‘Summer Passion’ formulas contain synthetic beeswax.
The ‘Satin’ formula is free from both these ingredients.
