A beautiful nude/brown that is very versatile. It is our first lip tint that has a slight golden iridescent finish, very understated but gives the lips a slightly more “glossy” finish
So if you’ve read some of my other reviews, you’ll know by now I don’t like glitter in lip products. The gold flecks in this give the product a gritty feel and are only made worse when you layer. The base colour, I actually think is very pretty and a very good nude brown shade for me. Unfortunately the glitter completely turns me off, mostly because I can feel it but it’s so noticeable to the eye as well. It’s also really hard to remove, so even when the colour faded I was left with gold glitter on my lips.
A perfectly translucent berry shade with a velvety finish
This doesn’t show up as well in photos, but I think that’s because it really is a beautiful berry shade that fits closely with my actual lip colour. This gives them a wash of colour that improves them in every way. It’s not overly glossy either and still feels comfortable even with a little smoothed on.
This orange-coral shade is the perfect “pop” of color to brighten all complexions
Most corals I’ve tried look too neon when they are applied heavier but I don’t find that with this formula. I really enjoy how warm it is for my skin tone and not garish at all. Out of these three it’s probably the glossiest looking, but it still never feels slick. The texture is very balm like but not overly thick.
Those are all the shades for the Kjaer Weis Lip Tint line that do not contain carmine. They have quite an extensive range and even though they are expensive, I do think if there’s a colour you really adore, they are a very good luxury option to consider.
