Curious

A bright wearable golden orange

In the pot you can see ever so slight shimmer. It doesn’t translate to your lips though and it doesn’t feel or look chunky, no matter how much is applied. While it wouldn’t be an every day colour for me, I still think it suits me without looking too garish. When it’s applied heavier it starts to give more slip and shine. This is when it starts looking a little over-powering, at least for my tastes.

Smile

A modern sheer coral/pink with a slight 50’s feel

Though the coral undertones comes through on my arm swatch, I think this shade is slightly too light for my lips because the coral is somewhat neutralized by the darker pigment of my lips. It comes off more as a warmer baby pink on me. To be fair, it suits better than cool toned pinks I’ve tried.

Beloved

A true red with just a hint of poppy to suit all skin tones. Gives cheeks a natural rosiness and stains lips with a desirable youthfulness

I was surprised by how the finished result varies depending on how much I applied it to my lips. In the swatches on my arm I could hardly tell any difference. Lightly applied, my pink undertone of my lips is really emphasized and the effect is similar to the stain from an icy pole. The product is still comfortable on my lips. Even though the pigment is strong, the formula allows for it to be sheered out very easily, without bunching or catching on dry patches.

Add a little more though and the red comes through much stronger. It gives gorgeous, opaque and shiny colour. It also leaves a stain. I also think that this formula is slightly different to all the others I tried. It looks and feels a little more gel like, both in the pot and on my lips.
