RMS Beauty cream products are all in the signature pots. I love that they’re glass but I do struggle to pick up product the further I dive in.

I’ve never had an issue with any scent from their products and they’re very smooth and emollient, without being greasy. It’s best blended in with your fingers but I do feel like if I blend too hard it moves my foundation underneath.RMS Beauty Master Mixer Hightlighter Review & Swatches. Gone Swatching xoThe best way to apply, is to start with a small amount on a clean finger, patting where you want it applied, until it’s blended out. If it sheers it out too much, then layer more in the same way.

If you don’t like glittery highlight, then good news! You can sheer it out until it’s barely a light shimmery glow. On the other hand, it’s hard to make it look like blinding highlight unless it’s layered but then it starts to look too obvious.

Final Word:

I’m happy to keep my highlight more subtle and shimmery, because my skin gives me my own natural sheen by the end of the day. While it’s probably not strong enough for some, for anyone wanting a natural glow it’s a good option.

Highlight is one of those things I don’t actually wear every time I put on makeup though, so I must admit $58.00 AUD is a little steep for something that isn’t a staple. I don’t think I’d repurchase. Once I’ve used it up I’ll start searching for a new highlighter.
