Hey, everyone, I thought I’d do a quick updated post on all the RMS Beauty Lip2Cheeks I’ve swatched, so you can find them in one post.
The only two I’m missing are Paradise & Promise, both of which sound like my kind of colours!
I just reviewed the Wild with Desire Lipsticks and hindsight is a beautiful thing. I can confidently say I much prefer the texture and colour of the Lip2Cheeks. You can layer them so they’re punchy and opaque but they look softer when applied sparingly and I prefer that! Another problem I found was the formula of the lipsticks. They’re a touch too matte for my lips, but applying more doesn’t help that, it just makes them feel a little heavy and tacky, while also making the colour a touch garish.
You’ll have to excuse the slight difference in lighting in some of these shots. I took these photos over a few years and I use natural light, so I can’t always replicate the same lighting conditions every time! I also didn’t take comparison shots of Spell, as it was really hard to photograph a difference between one layer and a couple. One more note, is that Curious have been discontinued, though I’ve found it on Amazon, if you’re desperate for a wearable orange.
Spell, Demure, Modest, Smile, Curious, Beloved, Illusive & Diabolique
A modern nude dusty pink
A soft pink rose with a hint of mauve that makes a statement
A salmon pink
A modern sheer coral/pink with a slight 50’s feel
A bright wearable golden orange
A true red with just a hint of poppy to suit all skin tones
A matte burnt berry nude with a hint of plum
A rich burgandy colouring and intense depth make this sultry shade a must for anyone feeling adventurous
Apart from Demure, the rest of the shades are perfectly wearable for my skin tone, whichever way they’re applied. As I said, I prefer these over the lipsticks, because of the feel and the cleaner ingredients. I’m still considering buying the two colours I’m missing too! I hope it helps having all the swatches in one place, and I hope you’re having a lovely week.
Until next time!
