This will be the last of the Ilia Beauty spam for a while I promise! I love using products that can double duty, so these sound perfect to me. I tend to like formulas that set a little matte because I’m already oily. That doesn’t always work for my lips because they can be dry. I already use the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush but I often have to top it with a balm because of the powder finish.
These multi-sticks are not new to Ilia’s line up, but they do remain one of the products with more organic ingredients. I’ve noticed that some of their new formulations, such as the Colour Block High Impact Lipsticks are still made from natural plant oils & butters but they’re not organic.
Overall there’s no organic certification, but many of the included ingredients are organic. Expiry is 12 months after opening. They cost $34.00 USD and $52.00 AUD for 0.15 oz or 4.5g. As far as I know Mecca Cosmetica are the only stockists in Australia.
Ingredients
I like that Ilia Beauty use the same brushed aluminium finish on all their products. The chubby stick is the perfect size for dabbing directly onto your cheeks and then blending away with a finger tip or brush.
This is sheer on the first swipe but buildable to medium. Stick with me, I found that the formula varies a bit between all the shades, but overall these truly are multi-use. They’re creamy enough to wear on your lips, some feel even more like a tinted balm.. They’re unscented as well, so good for sensitive noses!

Tenderly
Washed Pink
It was really hard to capture the colour of Tenderly on my cheeks, but hopefully you can get a sense of it. This works better as a cheek colour as it turns pastel on my lips. I also found that this had a slight cream to powder finish, which meant it emphazised lines and dryness. Since I have oily cheeks, it wasn’t an issue.
I Put a Spell On You
Hot Tangerine
I wish this had a darker tone as it’s a really pretty colour. It’s just a touch too light, but it is a little more emollient than Tenderly so it smooths out my lips more.
At Last
Dusty Rose
In person this looks a touch mauve. Super pretty colour for every day and comfortable enough to wear on the lips. This is a touch less balmy than some of the others.
All of Me
Warm Watermelon
I really love this colour! It’s not too bright, but just creamy enough to make my skin look dewy and my lips plump. I feel like it makes me look really fresh and youthful.
Cheek to Cheek
Saturated Sienna
I love how creamy and glossy this is. It’s a gorgeous pop of orange for when you want something a little different. I like how it can be bold, or softened for less impact.
Lady Bird
Neutral Rose
I love the nudes from Ilia Beauty and so this probably isn’t a surprise to anyone but yes, I love this colour too. It’s a touch fresher looking than a matte nude, and so beautifully smooth that I think I’ve found a new every day shade!
A Fine Romance
Berry
I normally find berry shades are too dark for me but this is a smooth, sheer formula that just works.
Final Word
I’m really glad that I tried these. Overall I think they’re a great formula because they are sheer and creamy. It makes them really wearable on lips and cheeks for anyone who’s on the drier side. I also think the pigment is really good, especially for cheeks. I felt that the colour was easy to blend and never patchy.
I Put a Spell on You and Tenderly are the two which are better suited to lighter skin tones. I picked well, buying the full sizes of Lady Bird and All of Me. They are my perfect colours because I love keeping my makeup light and fresh looking. I also really love the colour Cheek to Cheek!
For Australians, they are on the pricier side, so maybe not the first choice for everyone. However if you are in the market for an easy to use, cheek & lip product that isn’t a powder matte finish, then they’re a good option!
Thank you so much for your swatches.
I search the net for swatches for this product for my skin tone and yours were the closest I could find.
Thanks again!!
