I promised to work my way through the entire range of RMS Lip2Cheek colours and I’m almost there …
If you would like a full review and more colours, please read my other post: RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek Review and Swatches – Illusive & Modest
I also have the swatches of the colours Curious, Smile and Beloved.
Swatches:
Demure, Spell & Diabolique
Demure
A soft pink rose with a hint of mauve that makes a statement
This colour is too light for me, but that’s made much more obvious when it’s applied heavily. You can see in the swatches it turns pastel on me. This is something that happens quite often with any colour that’s too light for me. I think it would be a pretty shade for skin tones lighter than mine. I also believe it suits cooler skin tones better. It seems to sit on top of my lips and clash with my yellow undertones.
Spell
A modern nude dusty rose
I only took photos with one thicker layer of this shade as it was hard to capture the colour with the camera. It’s a gorgeous nude that isn’t too light and actually suits me very well. It does feel quite balmy when there’s more layered and I like it that way. The colour is such a close match to my natural lip it does look much nicer with more applied because it plumps them up, fills out the fine lines and gives them a nice sheen.
Diabolique
A rich burgundy coloring and intense depth make this sultry shade a must for anyone feeling adventurous.
This pulls a little more red on me than the deep burgundy as seen in the swatch. It can be sheered out to be a red wine stain, but also built up as a glossy deep red. This feels very light. It’s a lot less balmy than Spell. Wearing this all day, with eating and drinking would rub most of the colour but the stain left is a deep berry red.
I only have two shades left from the Lip2Cheek range and hopefully I will be able to finish off the collection soon.
I think I will eventually do a post with only the colours that suited me, so it’s easier to narrow down the colours best for you.
