The moment RMS Beauty released the Savannah Peach Collection I was captivated. I love warm Spring pinks & I’ve also been really enjoying softer more youthful makeup synonymous with Koreon Beauty. It wasn’t until this last Green Friday I decided to finally treat myself. I’ve had this collection since the start of the year, I was just taking the time to test it out and decide whether I like it or not!
Savannah Sunset Swift Shadow
A soft pink, with golden highlights. I wouldn’t call it glittery, rather the gold gives a gorgeous sheen that’ll catch the light. It’s bright in the pan but applies very sheer, unless you build it up.
This works best if you know how you want it too look. A soft wash of colour is what you’ll get if you use a brush but if you want more impact, use wet or even easier, pat it on with your finger!
Scarlett Peach Luminizing Powder
While they market this as a luminizing powder, it’s dark enough to act as a sheer bronzer for me or even an eyeshadow colour. On darker skin, it would probably work better as a highlighter. The shimmer is much less noticeable than the eyeshadow.
I particularly like this to build depth in my eye socket, or I sweep it all over the lid for that one and done soft bronzed look. Just like the Swift Shadows, you can pack it on with your finger to amplify the colour, or sweep it on with brushes for a more diffused look. As a bronzer the more you apply, the more your skin will glow because of the sheen. It’s not the effect I go for daily but for anyone wanting more subtle bronzing then it’s a great choice.
Peach MultiEYEtasker
This is full of golden shimmer in a light peach base, quite similar to the Master Mixer.
I love this colour. I would love to be able to use it as that finishing step on the middle of my eyelid to add extra dimension or as a liner in my waterline but I’m so disappointed with how it applies. It’s such beautiful colour but the formula is soft and you can’t achieve the same payoff on your eyes as you do, if you swipe it on the back of your hand.
Monterey Wild with Desire Lipstick
This swatches as a mid-toned pink with warm undertones, or as they describe a burnt coral. I’ve seen on Instagram that they now sell it separately, exclusively at RMS Beauty. I find it much more flattering than most of the other colours I tried in the Wild with Desire range.
Just as the others I tried, the formula is dry and a little tacky but the good news is that the Monterey shade is stunning! I love the colour and it suits warm skin tones so well. I wear this with a balm underneath or patted on top, depending what look I’m after.
Final Word
I’m definitely glad I finally splurged. I find the colours to be extremely flattering and I like that the powder products apply sheer. I also love the colour of the Monterey lipstick, I just wish it was better formulated. The MultiEYEtasker is the one product I could live without. It just doesn’t apply well unless you swatch it on your hand or arm. I already have the Master Mixer as well, so that’s better as a final eye topper.
