Another year has come and gone. I’d only started this blog a few months before the New Year but already I’ve collected some amazing colours and amazing products. These are the ones that I’m happy to have in my collection and will be used over and over again.
Adorn Cosmetics
Natural Red
This was by far one of the best I tried from Adorn Cosmetics. The formula is creamy and the colour is beautiful and soft. I feel that it changes how it looks with different lighting.
Axiology
Infinite
Gorgeous and versatile colour that wears very glossy with more. It’s still comfortable and not as slick as a lipgloss. It’s a very unique colour.
Devotion
The shimmer in this works very well to give your lips dimension and the colour is stunning.
Virtue
This spark of orange is so wearable and perfect for the warmer seasons.
Ere Perez
Nude
Perfect as a balm, with a hint of pink but with the staying power of lipstick
Juice Beauty
Cabernet
A mix between a berry and a cabernet shade, the formula is also really nice and moisturizing. Even if applied lightly as a stain, it doesn’t leave your lips feeling tight.
Syrah
A great, neutral every day colour of mauve pink. It feels quite mature and grown up.
Ilia – Lipstick Crayon
Come Undone
Nothing more I can say than it’s the perfect nude for me.
Iko Iko
Gorgeous bronze that can be added to other colours to give some interest
Gressa
Lavish
Lavish has shimmer and feels like a colour you’d wear when you’re dressed up. The formula wears very glossy when there’s more on but it doesn’t feel drying if you use it as a stain.
Regal
This one feels more natural but can be built up to very glossy and classy deep plum red.
*All the previously mentioned products are vegan. The following products are not vegan*
Ilia
Madam Mina
Beautiful neutral light mauve nude that gives a hint of difference to the typical pink nude.
In Paradise
This is the type of pink coral I want for my lips. Not too orange, but bright enough to be a fresh pop of colour. Feels lighter than a matte lipstick.
Noyah
African Nights
I will never stop raving about this true red. It’s so stunning. It’s not a true blue based red that is unflattering on warmer skin. It’s opaque, the formula is so nice and not heavy or matte.
Nudus
Bittersweet
I love the red from Noyah, and this is the perfect burnt orange red. It’s surprisingly the most flattering colour I tried from Nudus and is also softer than true red
RMS Beauty
Illusive
Beautiful ‘My Lips But Better Colour’ and can be built up to a rich, burnt rose. More is better I think because it feels more comfortable
So many colours to try and a whole new year to try them! Good luck for the New Year everyone!

I thought I knew all the natural lipstick brands but that red from Noyah is new to me. I’ll have to go check them out!

It’s probably my pick for everything – opacity, true red, formula and price. The packaging is also beautiful! Tell me if you try it and like it too!

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be stocked in the UK so it might be some time before I get to try!

That’s no good. I bought mine from US. Postage was reasonable and it didn’t take too long
