Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot Review & Swatches – Harmony, Healthy, Hello, Happy & Holy

I never tried the original Carrot Colour Pots so I thought if I’m testing their new lip colours, I might as well see how their new ones perform.

Gone Swatching-xo Green Beauty BloggerOverall Ere Perez do not have organic certification, nor do they list any of their ingredients as organic. This products’ expiration is 12 months after opening and for $32.00 AUD there’s 6.5g (0.23oz).

Ere-Perez-Carrot-Colour-Pot-review-and-swatches.Happy.-Vegan-Lip-and-cheek-tint.-Gone-Swatching-xoJust like the lipsticks, this doesn’t have any fragrance to mask the oil and waxes. It feels slightly thicker than a Lip2Cheek from RMS Beauty and boy, it is far more pigmented. I’m blush shy when it comes to application. I’m not a makeup novice, but I was nervous when I barely tapped the product and still picked up more than I’m comfortable using! I have to apply this with clean fingers because it’s far too easy to pick up excess with a brush. While the colour will seem bright to begin with, it’s easy to blend. Patting and small blending motions work best. I only took photos with Happy on my cheeks because it would have taken far too long to do all 5!Ere Perez Carrot Colour Review in Happy. Lip and cheek swatch on asian skin. Gone Swatching xoHopefully you can still get a good sense of the shades on my lips. I find they work just as well applied heavier because they wear exactly like a lipstick. The finish is comfortable and creamy satin matte, which can be blotted down to a stain. They wear off leaving the slight feeling of balm. If you want to wear these as a light stain, I’d recommend applying more and then blotting, as it can catch on dry patches. Applying little at a time makes it a little harder to achieve even coverage.

Ere Perez vegan Carrot Colour Pot. Review and Swatches. Harmony. Gone Swatching xoThis is a touch too light to be a dusty pink on me, so I think it would swatch as intended on lighter skin tones. Perfect if you’re after that baby pink though!

Healthy

Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot. Vegan and natural. Review and Swatches. Healthy. Gone Swatching xoTheir website describes this as a caramel but I find it’s on the lighter, pinker and warmer side of caramel. Call me crazy but I think it looks a little coral on me!

Hello

Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot Review and Swatches. Vegan. Hello. Gone Swatching xoWith strong pink undertones, this red really pops! I took photos of this with it blotted so you could see the difference it makes. This one leaves a stain once it’s worn away.Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot Review and Swatches. Hello. Happy

Ere Perez Vegan Carrot Colour Pot. Review and Swatches. Happy. Gone Swatching xoA deep crimson red that can wear dark and opaque, or sheered out as a soft flush. I really do like this applied to my cheeks, but only when I use light, light hand! I actually have more applied here than I normally like.Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot Review and Swatches. Holy

Ere Perez Vegan Carrot Colour Pot. Review and Swatches. Holy. Gone Swatching xoA rich, juicy mid-tone grape shade. This stained my lips for the rest of the day and only came off during my end of the day skincare routine.Ere Perez Carrot Colour Pot. Review and Swatches. Holy. PROS:

  • Excellent pigmentation
  • Creamy, blendable and buildable
  • No scent
  • Doesn’t feel oily on cheeks
  • Versatile product

CONS:

  • Hydrogenated olive oil
  • Excellent pigmentation also means you have to careful when applying
  • No organic ingredients

Final Word:

I have the same mindset with these as I mentioned with their lipsticks. Even though they aren’t organic, they perform as you’d expect from conventional makeup, without the toxins. The pigment is outstanding and they wear so nicely as a lip colour. I think if you’re the type of person who is heavy handed when applying blush, they’ll take a little bit of experimentation and caution. Happy is beautiful, but with how dark it is, I prefer keeping it light.Ere-Perez-Carrot-Colour-Pot-Review-and-Swatches.-Shade-Happy
