Kjaer Weis offer a traditional pressed powder eyeshadow, which I recently reviewed and found that I really loved the finish. They also offer cream shadows, which I tend to enjoy more since I find powders normally look obvious on me. Enticing isn’t a colour I’d normally pick for myself, but they were on sale so I thought why not?

Each shadow is certified organic but not vegan, as they contain beeswax. If you are sensitive to coconut oil then they might be too occlusive for you, since it’s quite high on the list.

It’s $72.00 AUD for the full product, while the refill costs only $43.00 AUD. They last 30 months before being opened and 12 months after being opened. For those in the US, they are $48.00 USD for the iconic edition, $38.00 USD for the red edition and $30.00 USD for just the refill.

I’ve always loved the compacts from Kjaer Weis and these have the same high quality metal finish with the mechanism that springs shut. These are bigger than the pressed eyeshadows though, so you can’t swap between them.

Versatile deep blue with a velvet finish

This can look almost black in some lights. I find the formula quite hard, which needs a little bit of work and patience to blend. This will work in your favour if you like your products to start off with less pigment which you can build up to be completely opaque.

Final Word:

I tend to shy away from heavy makeup looks, as well as using blue, but this has so much depth, which looks stunning as a liner or a shadow. I actually prefer it completely opaque. I now have my eye on the colour Gorgeous as it looks like a pretty neutral taupe. My other favourite is the Eye Polish Myth from RMS Beauty but that one does not last.
